Alanna's bowling them over breaking FINA world junior record

ROCKY City Swim Club's Alanna Bowles broke the FINA world junior record on her way to qualifying second fastest for the women's 800m freestyle final at the Australian Swimming Championships in Brisbane earlier today.

Setting a new personal best time of 8:29.40, Bowles qualified for tomorrow's final after finishing behind Sydney's Jessica Ashwood, who touched the wall in 8:28.36.
