But what is the maximum amount you would spend on a handbag to fit all of your 'essentials' in?

The Bulletin asked readers via Facebook on Friday night 'how much is too much' to spend on a handbag.

Judith Cesari-White says she does her handbag shopping at Vinnies or Lifeline.

"They have wonderful varieties and costs about $5," she said.

Meanwhile, others are happy to spend up to $500 for the top brands.
