BACH HUNT: Tyler is looking for The One
TYLER Roberts is a "small town country girl” now turned a full-time city lover.
At 18 years old, Tyler says this shouldn't weaken her chances of finding "the one”.
She decided to enter The Morning Bulletin's CQ Bachelor and Bachelorette competition as a way of finding someone new.
"I guess you could say I've looked but had no luck,” she said.
Our last female finalist in the competition, Tyler describes herself as a "fun loving chick with a touch of sass”.
"I love hanging out with friends and having a good time, I find myself to be a very caring and loyal person,” she said.
The Rockhampton Grammar School graduate has had her fair share of heartbreak.
From the simple hook ups at parties to developing real feelings, Tyler feels like she has been let down by men in love.
She has recently been through a traumatic break-up and is now looking to get back on the wagon.
In her perfect boyfriend, Tyler is looking for someone who is funny, genuine, kind, open and easy going.
One day, Tyler sees herself getting married and having kids.
But in the meantime she would like to travel, experiencing different cultures and countries.
Working in hospitality now, she is also considering studying at university but hasn't yet made up her mind what she would like to do career-wise.
Tyler's perfect date would be spending quality time with someone.
"Getting to know them while laughing maybe over food or just hanging out watching a movie,” she said.
Locally, an ideal date would be a day trip to Great Keppel Island or going for a nice dinner down on the river.
