Two children taken to hospital after Yeppoon car crash
UPDATE 1:15pm: Queensland Ambulance Services have confirmed two children were taken to hospital after the car they were in hit a tree.
A primary school aged girl was taken to Rockhampton with "spinal tenderness" while another child, gender unknown, was taken to Yeppoon with "seat belt-related injuries".
Queensland police and fire crews also attended the scene on the Yeppoon Road and Norman Road intersection.
Initial 12:30pm: Emergency services are heading to a crash on the Yeppoon Road and Norman Rd intersection.
It is understood a car containing two children and an adult has left the finished up un the trees.
Initial reports suggest al have left the car and the adult male has an injured arm and a young girl requires transport to Rockhampton hospital.
Queensland police services are directing traffic.
