Child hospitalised after snake bite
A PRIMARY school-aged child has been taken to hospital after being bitten by a snake at the region's southside last night.
Emergency services were called to the Jones Hill property just after 6.15pm.
The child was taken to Gympie Hospital as a precaution.
They were in a stable condition when transported.
