Dad, son face many counts
THE sheer volume of brief material was so large Magistrate Michael O'Driscoll granted solicitors a three-month adjournment in Rockhampton Magistrates Court.
The matters of father and son duo Blair Edward Campbell and Jason Matthew Blair Campbell were heard in court yesterday, on a very "large" amount of charges.
Blair Campbell is charged with over 90 offences, including 62 counts of supplying dangerous drugs, six counts of aggravated supply of dangerous drugs under schedule one to a minor and three counts of trafficking dangerous drugs.
Similarly, Jason Campbell is charged with over a dozen offences, including seven counts of supplying dangerous drugs and two counts of trafficking dangerous drugs.
Mr O'Driscoll said granting a three-month period of adjournment was "very unusual" but accepted this was a special circumstance.
Town agent for Anderson Telford Lawyers, Grant Cagney, said the "lengthy ajournment" was due to the time it would take to go through the material. The matters were adjourned for mention to June 22.
