Five things to do in Central Queensland over the weekend

ITS only a few weeks until Christmas with many people being busy doing Christmas shopping or attending Christmas parties.

But many still have free time up their sleeves and can participate in one of the many things happening this weekend in Central Queensland.

Here are five things to do this weekend:

1) Yeppoon Little Theatre production

 Inspector Drake and the Black Widow opened on Friday night at Yeppoon Little Theatre and is on again tonight, tomorrow night and next weekend.

2) Meet celebrity conservationist Bob Irwin

4) Rockhampton Saloon Car Club's "Big 3" weekend of racing

A SERIOUS case of sibling rivalry will play out at the Rockhampton Showgrounds on Saturday night as Leigh and Matthew Williams go head-to-head.

The Rockhampton brothers will do battle in the Super Sedan Summer Slam event of the Rockhampton Saloon Car Club's "Big 3" weekend of racing.

5) Create your own mandala

A mandala is a ritual symbol used to represent the universe and council is excited to announce local artist Kim Warcon will lead the workshop.

Livingstone Shire Council will host an exciting creative art workshop on Sunday with participants creating their own mandala.
