Michelle Landry's survey has been in pipeline for months
MICHELLE Landry will also ask her constituents in Rockhampton to have their say on the proposed South Rockhampton Flood Levee.
The Member for Capricornia will send out a survey to 28,000 households at the end of June.
"The mail-out is simple and asks people for their feedback on the levee bank conversation and was planned many months ago to always occur at the end of the financial year," Ms Landry said yesterday.
"It isn't a sudden reaction to the council's recent data.
"This is a simple feedback questionnaire that is often used to gauge constituents' feelings on community issues.
"But we've been inundated by people who were disappointed that the Rockhampton Regional Council did not canvass all ratepayers in the city on the issue."
Ms Landry said she had made it clear that whatever the outcome, the Federal Government did not have the money to fund a flood levee in the short-term.
