THE Livingstone Shire Council have released its latest glimpse of what the Yeppoon Foreshore could become.

The Coastal Journeys design provides a sneak peek to the concepts to be released tomorrow at a Community Open Day.

The concept features a new community park (6),  boardwalk (8), integrated putt putt area (12) and beach pool (14).

Mayor Bill Ludwig said the public consultation would be a key milestone step towards realising the Yeppoon Foreshore and Town Centre Revitalisation Project.

"The opening of the Keppel Kraken water park has already seen thousands of people flocking to Yeppoon. The next stage of the foreshore master-plan will be another quantum leap forward for our tourism industry and the future economic development of both the Capricorn Coast and our region," he said.

The TCL Community Open Day will be held tomorrow at the Ground floor of SALT, Yeppoon.

Sessions will be held between 10am to 4pm and 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
