Emu Park Men’s Shed gives back with free open day today

THE EMU Park Men's Shed is growing more popular, with 50 financial members, seven corporate partners and several applications still pending.

Today, the public can see what all the fuss is about, at a free community open day from 10am to 2pm.

President Graham Luck said the day will feature fun and entertainment for the whole family including live music, belly dancers and sausage sizzle.

"It's a chance for the members to say thank you to the various groups, businesses and residents that have shown their support for the shed including Livingstone Shire Council, and the tradespeople who have generously donated so much of their time and expertise to our cause over the last two years," he said.

"As part of the celebrations, we'll be making a presentation to say thank you, in particular to TT Cummins and Sons Builders, without whom this simply wouldn't have been possible."
