Pete Murray to play at Village Festival next month
IF you thought James Morrison, Mark Seymour and James Reyne were enough on one line-up, you thought wrong.
The CQUniversity Village Festival committee decided to do even better and also land Australian hit maker Pete Murray to their growing list of talented acts both on a national and local scale.
The great news was announced at CQUniversity today, where CQU Vice Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman was joined by Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry, Member for Keppel Brittany Lauga, Livingstone Shire Councillor Jan Kelly, staff of sponsors Coal Train and the festival's Chair of the Board Jason Pfingst.
The Capricorn Coast event scheduled for August 12 - 14 is a free event for the community to be held at Yeppoon Main Beach and across several coast venues.
The aim of the annual event is to substantially grow The CQUniversity Village Festival crowds, drawing people to the region and showcasing what the area has to offer.
