Police called to home over art theft dispute

ROCKHAMPTON police responded to reports of a disturbance at a home on Salamanca Street.

Two people were said to be having an argument over a stolen painting, and one of them was damaging a car at the property.

Early reports indicated that a taxi driver pulled up and got involved in the dispute.
