
Rock thrown off Bruce Hwy overpass hits ambulance
A ROCK, thrown off a Bruce Highway overpass, struck a Queensland Ambulance Service vehicle in the early hours of this morning while on a "priority" lights and sirens job south of the Sunshine Coast.
The vehicle's windscreen was damaged when the object, believed to be a rock, smashed into it at 3.46am at Morayfield.
The travelling officers were uninjured and able to continue their shift.
