Four crews extinguished large grass fire at Yaamba

FIRE crews were called to a large grass fire yesterday at 3.10pm at Yaamba.

According to authorities five acres of land was alight near Milman which caused a heavy smoke haze over parts of the Bruce Hwy.

Four rural crews extinguished the fire as police controlled traffic.
