WEATHER: What's in store for CQ this weekend?

AS the region prepares for a weekend of food, wine and fun, the weather outlook starts a bit gloomy tomorrow.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology website, there is a strong chance it will rain in the region tomorrow morning.

But the outlook for the rest of Friday looks promising for Capricorn Food and Wine Festival goers who attend the Twilight Tastings, particularly with the maximum temperature expected to reach 30.

Saturday's forecast is a bit gloomy as well with possible showers in the afternoon and early evening, but the BOM is forecasting about 1mm of rain.

The showery conditions continue Sunday with showers likely in the morning and the afternoon.
