Women’s Week grant applications close tomorrow

APPLICATIONS for up to $5000 in funding to host Queensland Women's Week events close tomorrow the Member for Keppel Brittany Lauga said today.

"I urge all community groups in Keppel to apply for these grants to run events and activities in celebration of the achievements of women and girls during the inaugural Queensland Women's Week, being held 7-13 March 2016," Mrs Lauga said.

"Applications for funding between $1000 to $5000 to host events, activities, workshops and awards were still open, closing tomorrow, Thursday 14 January 2016.

"The week's theme is 'Good for her. Great for us. When women achieve, Queensland succeeds'.

"Other than that, the only limit is your imagination in terms of what you can deliver with up to $5,000. I'm looking forward to seeing the creative ideas that people come up with."
